ARE WE CERTIFIED AND INSURED FOR THE PRODUCTS THAT WE SELL?
Yes, we are. We are legally certified and hold all relevant cosmetic product safety reports and insurance policies, ensuring our compliance with current regulations.

We hold cosmetic product safety reports for every single recipe we sell. We use an independent, qualified chemist in skin preparation to test and certify all of our recipes as safe for use on human skin. Because of the in-depth certifications we hold, we have all the relevant insurance needed to sell products in the UK.
We are proud to say, we follow strict hygiene rules and good manufacturing procedures.

We hold full MSDS (material safety data sheets) on all of our fragrances and ingredients and can provide all of this information should it ever be required.

We also ensure that our suppliers adhere to strict health, safety, and hygiene guidelines when processing our ingredients, following and gaining ISO standards and certifications. 

NUT ALLERGY                                                                                   
We do use nut based ingredients in some of our products, specifically coconuts and almonds. The factories that supply our nut based ingredients do also process peanuts, so we cannot guarantee that our products do not carry a risk to people with a nut allergy of any kind.

SHOULD I PERFORM A PATCH TEST WITH YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS?
Yes, we recommend performing a patch test before using any of our skincare products. This can help prevent any adverse reactions. Instructions for patch testing are included with your products and available on our website and Etsy Shop (see below)

HOW TO PERFORM A PATCH TEST
By following these steps, you can avoid potential irritation and enjoy your skincare routine with peace of mind.
1, Choose a Small Area: Select a discreet area of skin, such as placing it inside your inner forearm, bend of our elbow or behind your ear. Make sure the target patch area isn’t somewhere you can accidentally wash the skincare product off. These spots let you easily observe your skin’s reaction without drawing too much attention to the area.
2, Clean the Area: Gently cleanse and dry the selected area to ensure accurate results.
3, Apply a Small Amount: Dab a small amount of the product onto the chosen area.
Wait and Observe: Let the product sit on the skin long enough. For example, sunscreen products are most effective within 2 hours of application. So if you’re testing this product to see whether it can prevent sun damage on the skin without adverse reactions, you can leave it on the patch area for that duration. On the other hand, you can leave some products on the skin for a few minutes, depending on given usage instructions. Leave it undisturbed and leave the product on without washing the area.
4, Observe the Patch of Skin:Remember to regularly check the patch test area for any signs of skin irritation or allergic reactions. Do the patch test twice daily for 7-10 days since reactions may not happen immediately. This will let you see your skin’s response to the product over time. Look for redness, itching, swelling, or rashes. If you experience any discomfort, stop using the product immediately. 
Check for Reactions: Monitor the skin for any signs of redness, itching, swelling, or other adverse reactions.
5, Evaluate Results: If no irritation occurs, the product is likely safe for regular use on your face or body. If irritation does occur, discontinue use immediately. After the recommended patch testing duration, check the patch test area. No adverse reactions indicate that the product is likely safe to use on your skin. But if you notice any adverse effects or irritation on the spot, it’s best to avoid using the product altogether. Relieve the affected skin area using a cool compress.

IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE AND ECO-FRIENDLY?
Yes, all of our packaging is 100% recyclable.
Our packaging is either recycled or can be recycled.
E.g:
Our tissue paper is made of recycled paper. The Tape we use, is either plant-based or recycled paper. Our boxes, packaging, and postal bags are 100% compostable and biodegradable. The zig-zag filler we use is recycled, and even our tea-light containers are biodegradable!
We are striving to go plastic-free! We believe in reducing plastic packaging as much as possible. Every product that we sell with any plastic packaging is recyclable in your household recycling bin. 
Our glass bottles with plastic droppers are also fully recyclable, just pop the glass components in your glass recycling bin and any plastic parts in your normal recycling bin.
Our soap bars and individual products will come wrapped in our branded wrapping paper, which is biodegradable and can be recycled.
Our labels and stickers are paper-based, recycled, or fully recyclable and do not contain any non-recyclable plastic coatings or sealants. As a result, if they get wet, they may degrade over time. 
We are a small family business, and we put a lot of dedication and effort into offering you good quality products. We aim to source the materials locally and have a lower impact on the CO2 footprint.

DO WE SHIP OUTSIDE THE UK?
No, we do not. Our decision to not trade in Europe is not based on shipping or tax reasons but due to the legality of our registration with the EU CPNP post Brexit.
*UK excludes Northern Ireland, due to their requirement for cosmetic products to be listed on the EU CPNP which we are no longer a member of.

HANDMADE ITEMS
Each handmade item is made, mixed, coloured and fragranced, by hand, with love. We can ensure a good consistent level of quality this way. There’s nothing we love more than creating beautifully fragranced and coloured products for people to enjoy! 
As all of our products are handmade, some differences in the way products look will happen. No two bars of soap that we make are the same! Each product we have is a little piece of art, carefully created by the person that made it. 

DO YOU DONATE TO CHARITY?
Yes, we do! We love to help out charities and will often work with our local charities to help with fundraisers and donations. If you are running a charity event please do feel free to contact us to see if we can help. 

WILL THERE BE RECEIPTS OR INVOICES INSIDE THE PACKAGE?         
We know how important it is to keep surprises just that - a surprise! So, your package will never include any invoices or receipts unless you specifically ask us to add one. We're here to make your gifting experience as joyful and seamless as possible!

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN POSTAGE IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
If you change your mind and wish to return an item, you are responsible for the return postage costs. However, if the item is faulty or not as described, we will cover the return postage.

Custom-made or personalised items are not eligible for returns if you change your mind. This includes items specifically tailored to your requirements.

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?
To return an item, please contact us with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with return instructions. Ensure the item is securely packaged and includes all original packaging and documentation.

CAN I RETURN A CUSTOM-MADE OR PERSONALISED ITEM?
Custom-made or personalised items are not covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations for returns if you change your mind. This includes items specifically tailored to your requirements. However, if the item is faulty or does not match the description, you are entitled to a refund or replacement.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ITEM IS DELIVERED TO A SAFE PLACE AND IS STOLEN?
If you have designated a safe place for delivery and the item is stolen, unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible. However, we recommend checking with neighbours or around the delivery area. For future orders, consider using a more secure delivery location.

HOW DO I MAKE A COMPLAINT?
